Top 5 Reasons Your Local Business Should Be Using Google Ads

You have so many different ways to get people into your business if its buying ads on a park bench or posting in Craigslist, some strategies work better than others. If you plan to do most of your advertising/ marketing online you are probably looking into Search Engine Optimization, Social Media, and Ads on Search engines. If you live in the US you are most definitely looking at Google and wondering how you can get your business on the first page of Google.

Here are the Top 5 Reasons why your business should be using Google Ads (Pay Per Click (PPC)

1.You get Traffic to your website almost instantly – The reason why I say you get traffic almost instantly is that when you start doing a PPC campaign with Google your ads get a place right at the top of the Search Engines. Even if you don’t like clicking on those ads, millions of other users click on those ads. Here is an example of a Google Ads.

2. Fast results – You get fast results because you’re finding what works and what doesn’t. You know that Google Ads can drive a lot of traffic to your website so If you start a campaign and get no traffic… Something is wrong. That’s when you can adjust the campaign and figure out what works, what ads attract your market.

3. Learn more about your target market online – This is a great way to find out what your market is doing. You can see which Google Ads work, what do they do after they have clicked on the ad, when they are on the website what are they doing and are they buying, etc. Google provides so much information about what your traffic or audience is doing it’s scary.

4. You can use remarketing to follow your customer – Remarketing is ads that follow you around, even when you’re on another site. Have you ever been on Amazon and started looking at “Shoes” for example and when you leave and maybe go to Facebook, you see an ad on your Facebook feed for the shoes you were looking at… That is Remarketing. Here is an example of a remarketing type campaign I got on Facebook.

5. Customizable ads – Google Ads lets you customize almost every aspect of an ad campaign. This is where you will find what works and what doesn’t.

You have to remember when running any type of Pay Per Click Ad campaign is that it’s not a set it and forget it campaign. You have to constantly be monitoring the PPC campaign and make sure that your Ads are constantly performing. You also have to be aware of any changes that Google makes to Google Ads, they are always adding new features and taking away features. So my advice to anyone that wants to try Google Ads is to always as a professional and have them set it up and monitor it for you so you get the most bang for your buck.
