Recently, we received a website hosting scam in the form of an invoice in the mail from a company we’ve never heard of. In this video, we’ll show you how it looks like and its content. We’ll also share how we knew it was a scam and some tips on what you can do to avoid these things from happening.
This is not the first time we’ve received something like this. In the past we, received a similar letter for our company’s domain asking us to pay some amount of money. So, watch out for any email or mail saying you owe money for your hosting or domain and it’s not the same company you purchased your domain or hosting from, then it’s gonna be a scam. If you’re not sure, then contact your developer or whoever is in charge of your website. You can also send us a message and we can try to figure it out.
